By accessing or using GitDevGo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GitDevGo is a mobile application that allows you to:

  • Browse and edit code in your GitHub and GitLab repositories
  • Chat with an AI assistant (Claude) about your code
  • Commit and push changes to your repositories
  • Manage your development workflow from your mobile device

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must authenticate using your GitHub or GitLab account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
  • Abuse the AI chat feature (e.g., generating harmful content)
  • Circumvent usage limits or rate limiting
  • Share your account with others or resell access

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes limited features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time.

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You can cancel at any time through the Google Play Store.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. We do not provide direct refunds for subscription payments.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GitDevGo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your code and repository content remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your content solely for providing the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

The AI chat feature uses Claude by Anthropic. Regarding AI-generated responses:

  • AI responses are for informational purposes and may contain errors
  • You are responsible for reviewing and validating any code suggestions
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI responses
  • You should not rely solely on AI suggestions for critical decisions

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GITDEVGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to your data
  • Any errors or omissions in the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
